What about wait times?
Wait times vary by province, specialty, institution and individual situation. The Fraser Institute's 2025 survey reported a 28.6-week median total wait from GP referral to treatment in Canada, and median waits of 8.8 weeks for CT and 18.1 weeks for MRI. These survey figures are not an individual forecast and do not establish that a specific overseas appointment will be faster.
